Guitar Center's Roland & BOSS Days

This looks interesting
http://gc.guitarcenter.com/tradeup/

Trade in any qualifying gear and you can use it to help finance a new effect pedal.

also about the only boss or roland product in current production i'd be interested in at all is the slicer. could use another tuner pedal i guess, but beyond that, man their product line is boring... would go for an RC-50 again, but either they've discontinued it or guitar center's just no longer carrying it...

Wonder if they'll have any PC-2s that's been a pretty tought Boss pedal to find.

...obviously they won't. I'm just being a j**k. It'd be funny to see if they remade PC-2s fully analog how much they would charge for them.

Did you see what they accept as trade-ins? Guitars, drum kits, PA equipment, drum machines etc.

For 20% off a Boss pedal.

You'll get 20% off a Boss pedal if you ask nicely. No need to get rid of something worth much more for such a tiny discount.

Don't you get the trade-in credit PLUS the 20% discount? However, it is my understanding that GC determines the value of a trade in by looking at completed auctions on eBay and offering 50%.

But Stab is right, now that GC has their price match garauntee, it shouldn't be too hard to get 20% off retail on a pedal.
