You should also check the eBay completed listings for one.

Re: NOVATION BASS STATION KEYBOARD
In good working order probably no more than about $300ish. I don't think I'd pay more than $350 unless you really, really, really want....but in that case, price wouldn't matter I guess.

Re: NOVATION BASS STATION KEYBOARD
I just bought one with the mind to possibly flip it! I got mine for much less than $400 but not quite as low as $25. I am actually thinking of keeping it to play live with a metal band to keep from taking the Little Phatty out. Of course, now I'm thinking some gear restrategizing could get me into a good analog poly, something I've been lacking for awhile...

Re: NOVATION BASS STATION KEYBOARD
Is the Bass Station (original or keyboard) an Analog Modeling synth or does it have analog DCOs? The VSE page says it has "VCO's which use analog Sound Modeling (ASM) to generate basic saw and pulse waveforms" which seems contradictory, unless I'm misunderstanding what ASM means...

All analogue.

Re: NOVATION BASS STATION KEYBOARD
There was some talk about this on VSE several years back and I guess it's been pushed out of the site's memory. I looked for it recently and couldn't find it. In that discussion it was revealed that the Bass Station series rolls with DCO's, analog filter and digital envelopes/LFO. Which would explain why mine sounds very Juno-esque in the low end.

Re: NOVATION BASS STATION KEYBOARD
Ok, I thought I was flipping out. I remember finding out the BS is DCO based too.
