Hmm.. doesn't sound quite right. I usually see them go for $150-200usd on Ebay. I'm in the U.S. though, could be more pricey elsewhere.

Seen a few recommendations on the ER-1. Had one for a while and never really liked it. Very easy to use, but I found it to be quite limited.

I just realised something.
Im in australia, so i need ones thta are widely avaiable in aus, or are battery or bus powered.

Im rejuvenating this thread as i am still looking for a drum machine.
My price range has changed to $200-$300 dollars.
So fire away.
Also, Im in australia, so i need ones that are widely avaiable in aus, or are battery or bus powered.

Ill throw this one out there... a really inexpensive, analog drum machine with 4 drum pads is the Mattel Synsonics drum machine, extremely easy to use. :shock:

Korg EMX: Its about $200 above my price range.
Mattel: Um. A bit too old for me.

my suggestion is you go back to the start of the thread and reconsider everything that's been presented to you thus far. It's a relatively extensive list and if you can't find what you're looking for for your price range yet then grow your price range and get something that's STILL listed already in this thread.
