Re: Got Struthi?
No, you've lost me completely there. What is a Struthi when it's at home (or anywhere else for that matter).

About soldering the shruthi1. I never seen such nicely layed out boards in a diy project before. It is very straight forward and the assembling time for a novice is just a few hours. Great synth and a great project for a small amount of cash.

In that regard, it looks a lot like the Sammich SID, which was time-consuming but not really any more complex than putting together your average fuzz pedal kit (less so, in fact, as there's no wiring to screw upMush wrote:About soldering the shruthi1. Re: Got Struthi?
I was refering to the actual component layout where i found the sammish to be just decent. The shruthi is very clever and beautiful in this regard.pricklyrobot wrote:In that regard, it looks a lot like the Sammich SID, which was time-consuming but not really any more complex than putting together your average fuzz pedal kit (less so, in fact, as there's no wiring to screw upMush wrote:About soldering the shruthi1. Re: Got Shruthi?
I bought one a little while ago. Nervous about building it, as I'm just learning to solder. I'll probably start it sometime this week - if all goes well, I'll post the results

I have one on the way. It's too bad there were no honeycomb side panels offered this time, but I didn't want to wait. So excited!
