I heard some midi interfaces are known to be more stable than others. For instance, when I work with the editor, I lose MIDI contact with the synth every couple of minutes. I have to manually reactivate the MIDI every time, which is annoying. That's with Uno. I'm not 100% sure it's the interface that's causing it, but from reading a bunch of forums, a lot of people report increased stability as soon as they switch to another interface.

If you have a MM that you use both in your Mac-based DAW and the editor at the same time and everything works 100% ok, I'd like to know what MIDI interface you're using.

I've had success with Alesis IO26 and Evolution UC-17.
