analog poly synth

I'm new, and I searched first. This is a great board here. So,...I'm a bassist who landed a gig as a synth player. I've got a MoPho keyboard, and Little Phatty Stage II, as well as a Korg X-50. Very happy with the 2 mono's, but instead of the X-50, I'm looking at either an Oberheim OB-12, or Waldorf XtK. The Korg is a bit "toy-like", and difficult for me to program, but it does have some great patches.
My question- is there something else I might should be looking at? (easier to find) I do want plenty of knobs to control with, and at least 8 voice polyphony- but not anything with digital menu's that you need to dig through. I get lost in them. Any and all suggestions welcome, and thanks.

Since you're familiar with DSI, perhaps a used P08 PE, or chain your Mopho with a Tetra. The P08 is not a huge board, size wise, and the Tetra could easily sit next to the Mopho on a single stand w/wood board shelf. The Tetra has some menu diving, but it's really not too difficult to get through.

*edit: some of these may be 6 voice but if you you like a synth enough, you will learn to put up with that.

XtK and OB 12 are digital synths not analog.

junos and memorymoogs top out at 6 voices, as does AX-60 and P600...the '6' in the model number might be a clue

going by thread title and your posts this narrows it down to:

Jupiter-8
Prophet 10 or T8
Korg PS 3x00 series
Synthex
Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa, OB-8

each cost a fair chunk of money, can be hard to find in good shape, and will require even more $$ for maintenance

anything newer than a big old classic is going to have menus/digital control .
Andromeda, JX-10 and P08 = "dive into the digital menu we go, we go!"

you may wish to loosen your requirements...or get another job, like NOW

Akai AX-80's sometimes pop up kind of cheap. They're 8 voice polyphony. Don't let the bar graphs fool you, there are no menus to contend with. It's an easy synth to work with once you get used to it.

OK, still learning, so, I suppose analog is not crucial if the OB-12 is digital, it's a great sounding machine that has "analog-like" control. I'm good with that. My MoPho is a keeper, and I'd like to keep the Phatty, (it's my 2nd one), but I could let that go for the right poly synth. Thought about the Tetra as well, and that may be the way to go afterall. Thanks for the clues.

For the sake of trying to cover every possibility, the Yamaha CS-60 is a single VCO 8-voice with plenty of front panel controls. They show up on eBay frequently.

While I agree with the choice, these do not show up all that often, trust me I've been looking for quite some time now. When they do, as the one currently listed, they are in Japan and priced on the mentally challenged side of reason.
