Reasonable price for Novation Bass Station keyboard

So I've been meaning to get hold of this little beast for some time, and it has finally surface in Craigslist.
This guy wants 400 for it, which I think is a bit pricey.
What do you guys think?
How much would you pay for it?

haven't checked in a while but am pretty sure they do tend to sell for $300-400. IIRC i sold one for $350 a while back.

keyboard has a very cheap build but they sound great.

Ok, I have another follow up question.
Is there significant difference between the rack and the keyboard?

I believe the consensus of the Internet is that the build quality on the rack is a bit dodgy but better on the kb.

sorry guyaguy but that's 100% wrong. i've had 'em both. keyboard's a cheap piece of plastic with good stuff inside, rack's a tank.

rack has more program storage, midi and CV/gate in & out.

I own the BSR, considering the build quality of the keyboard, may be it's worth to consider the rack version. The X-station has a better keyboard and interface with a dedicated template for controlling the Bass Station.
