Expert Sleepers module info

Post by cgren72 » Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:12 pm

I am wanting to try the silent way suite, but was wondering a few things about the es-1 and es-3 modules. What is the difference in functionality between the two? Is the only difference that the es-1 is connected to the computer with an audio interface, and the es-3 is connected with lightpipe? Or is it just easier with lightpipe to have polyphony, instead of loading up several inputs on an interface?
And how exactly does the es-1 module work?

looks like the es-1 might be discontinued(but you can still find them): http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=73719. i have an es-3 and am happy in my decision in buying it over the es-4 or es-1. one adat cable(that i don't have to use for cv or audio for any other instrument) from computer to modular for a quick, clean, streamlined work space.
