anyone found good replacement slider caps?

Post by space6oy » Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:32 pm

want to get some for my MG-1. would be awesome if someone found reproductions of the originals somewhere, but will settle with something similar. have hit jameco & mouser & haven't found 'em.

yeah that's with replacement sliders & switches too. don't need to do that to mine. just want some caps. thanks though!

edit: emailed them asking about buying them separately but doubt it. bet even if they're up for that it'll be a higher price than i'd wanna pay...

Their advertizing says if you buy a "membership" you can get access to more parts and "un-bundle" packs.
Not ready to pay fior that yet, but the two sets of MG-1 pots/knobs were perfect fits and good quality. FWIW.

i bought some caps and rotary dials from TT before they came with the whole set with sliders, i guess it depends on what you are offering as the mg1 i have will have new old stock mouser caps on when i sell it.

I ordered the Rogue/MG-1 set from Technology Transplant in early Feb. They took my money via PayPal and then never responded to any of my emails. Product never arrived, I am currently waiting to hear from PayPal re: dispute resolution. :(

Yeah, he's slow as techtonic drift sometimes, but I've always gotten my orders.

So, Technology Transplant refunded my money through PayPal and closed the dispute. The message he/they left on the resolution was:

"My apologies this is awaiting a part to complete the kit we should have stock mid April."

I let TT know that if I had only received *one* email in response to my multiple queries I would not have cancelled the order. As it stands, I still need to source sliders for my Rogue but am wary of doing business with this merchant again (though we all know I will probably attempt a purchase again unless someone else steps up to the plate and starts selling appropriate parts.
