The TR-606 is the only Roland drum machine that allows the user to switch between pattern play and write modes without stopping the sequencer. All others, you must stop the sequencer, then change the mode from play to write.

You know, I wanted to buy a cheap 626 and install this ROM:

So I would have a couple of drum sets available on one drum machine, without the need to buy a sampler...
What would you suggest as an alternative?
