looking for a new synth for dance music i can use

Hello. I'm new here. I don't know what forum that will be best to ask my questions. So you know it, I'm totaly blind, so i can't see a display. Now to my questions. I'm looking for a new synth. The gear i already have is, Roland sh-201, korg micro korg and a Roland fa-06. The synths i have looked at is access virus ti, nord lead a1 nord lead 4, Roland gaia, Roland juno-gi and korg king korg. I have tried the nord lead 4 in a music store, but have only listened to the first 50 sounds i think. Also the Roland gaia. The presets in the nord lead 4 wasn't so good, but i don't think i have listened to all presets. The sounds i want is sounds that can be used in hardstyle, hard trance, hands up and hard dance music. also bigroom sounds. Not electro house sounds. I need some good presets to start with or some soundsets for these music genres. Do you have some of these synths? if yes can you send a mp3 demo to me with the factory sounds and also with some soundsets you have created for the synths? I have listened on youtube, but can't find a demo for the nord lead 4 and a1 where all factory sounds are played. There are lots of demo's for the king korg, where they play the factory sounds. So my questions is. Can the gaia, juno-gi, king korg and the 2 nord leads do agressive hardstyle supersaw leads, basses, bells and pads? I know i can get lots of sounds for the virus ti, but how accessible it is to edit i don't know. I know the nord leads and the gaia have the best user interface, but i'm not sure it can do these types of sounds i want. So what are your experience with these synths? Is it possible for me to use the virus, and the king korg? and what about the nord lead a1 and nord lead 4 are there some dance and trance soundsets for these? Looking forward to here from you
Best regards
Kasper

The Prophet 6 would be worth checking out - the only displays are LEDs, one the for clock, two for the effects block, and one for program number.

sounds great :) Can it do these type of sounds i'm looking after? if it helps listen to the mp3 demo's of the incubation vol. 2, 3 and 4 for the access virus, nordish by nature for the nord lead 3. all from vengeance sound. and the synthmania samples from vipzone.. Thanks for your answer :)
Best regards Kasper

Short answer: no, you won't be getting supersaw sounds out of a prophet 6.

Hello again. Thanks for the answers. I will try the prophet 6 if they have it in the music store. What i want is a synth that can do difrend types of sounds. I do have the sh-201 for the supersaw sound, but it's a bit limited because you only can have 32 user sounds in it. I have tried the gaia and it's a cool synth :) but before i buy it. Do you know how good the other synth's are? How good are there interface? can i use these synths or do i get problems finding and editing the presets? And what about the sounds they can create? can they be used for dance music? and can they make these sounds that the dsi can do?
Best regards Kasper

Original supersaw synth: Roland JP-8000. Very popular virtual analog machine. ALL OVER trance in the late 90.s/early 00's. An even cheaper alternative to that is the Roland SH-32 desktop module. Powerful machine with a Supersaw waveform as well. Probably able to produce the sounds you're after. I got one locally for $220 a while ago.

You might want to also look into programming your synths, not just testing out presets...it's lots of fun and will make your music more unique.

Most synths can handle this

I believe they're all pretty good, likewise interfaces, but I'm no expert on modern synths. Your ears and fingers will tell you more than I can. They can be used for any type of music, even country - and yes, western. I still reckon you should try the Prophet as soon as you can.

I disagree. For the music and styles he has mentioned, the Prophet 6 is rather highly priced and less than optimal compared to a Virus or Nord Lead.

Ashe, with all due respect, I'm thinking about the fact that the OP is blind.

Ok, older Virus, then, that doesn't depends on deep menus. Or, as others said, a JP 8000.

The OP already has a SH 201, so it seems a bit redundant, not that there's anything wrong with that...

I'll also add, the Juno Gi he mentions is going to be practically ineditable to him. it depends on deep menus and the ability to read the screen.

Which is why I keep ending up at the Prophet 6 - I really can't think of anything less screen dependent in the new market.
