Cheap hardware sample loop player with MIDI clock sync

Post by iamrcb » Tue Aug 18, 2015 8:04 am

I'm looking for a cheap basic sample (drum) loop player that can sync the sample playback tempo to an incoming MIDI clock (timestretch). Ideally with some sort of memory card function. I don't need it to do anything special other than play a loop.

Can anyone recommend something?

Thanks

Define cheap. There's a number you can buy used for $200 or less.

Roland SP-404, SP-404SX, SP-505, SP-606

Korg MicroSampler

Zoom ST224 (uses obsolete SmartMedia cards...make sure it comes with at least one!)
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
