Synth for 8/16 bit sounds.

I guess I'll buy Nexus, Komplete and Arturia Analog Lab with a midi controller (one that I could also attach to an <a class="vglnk" target="_blank" href="http://www.walmart.com/cp/Apple-iPad/1092747" rel="nofollow"><span>iPad</span></a>).

Not sure that you would want a Nexus, as android still has not solved their latency issues, unfortunately.

For Pete's sake man, don't nurture the indecision in this thread! It's taken months to get this far!

No Sidstation for me as it has no keyboard. If there was a keyboard synth with a SID chip and built in speakers, then I'd be happy. Also, I am not one to take jokes seriously and will report any jokes. Also, I want to use simple preset instruments for my first few albums mixed with computer software. I think I will get some apps for my iPad.

I actually have apps on my iPad. Arturia iSEM, iMini, and iProphet all sound good, same with GarageBand and Music Studio.
