Looking for drum sounds..

Post by Akinseak » Fri Dec 21, 2018 9:33 am

Hi everyone..

I'am looking for a VST drum addon, that has drum sounds sounding like the ones
being used in this "Fun Fun - Color my love" video..

Same drum sounds are being used in Koto - Jabjah / Chinese Revenge / and such..

If you know what sounds are being used otherwise than the drum it would be most appreciated also..

Thank you.

Sounds a lot like an E-mu Drumulator to me, the cowbell is the giveaway to my ears anyway. It may well be a mixture of a few machines

There seem to be some VST instruments based on it, I couldn't find a free one but I didnt look very hard.

Or you could download a sample set and use in any sample based VST drum machine

Try Reason re-wired into Ableton Live, where you can use those DubScrolls VST plugins on reason sounds and add live instrumentation as well. Not to be missed

i dont know if you found answer to your post

you can found free sample ( WAV ) drum sounds of the 80's italo disco/eurodisco etc.. on style2psr website . Its very accurate to that big kick/snare of the 80's ( silent circle - touch in the night , sabrina - boys , trans-x - living on video etc.. and many other synthpop/synthwave music .

*** The guy make patches for yamaha psr-s arranger/workstations .... but under the free samples of his website .. you can download a free sample pack in WAV format to use in FL STUDIO and other DAWs , . The synthwave section of the pack has all the Claps , kick , rimshots , snares , toms . and it sound accurate to the 80's .

From the song you posted .... i would use Style2psr synthwave pack ( kick , snares , hat ) and Tal U NO LX ( a very great Roland Juno 60 VST emulator ) for the bassline or maybe korg polysix vst ( part of KOrg legacy collection , but not free ) . Tal U NO LX V2 is fantastic for capturing the 80's JUNO 60 bassline ( think new order - blue monday )

If you cant find it by searching on google ( i dont wanna post link here since im new and it could be seem as spamming ) , send me a message , ill send it to you in a zip .
