How to get this cool lead synth sound?

Postby Noel Lee » Sun Aug 20, 2017 2:49 pm

Hey guys, my name is Noel and I am new to edm music. I really like the lead synthesizer sound of this song call

Where you are - Hillsong

Having a problem with getting this sound. I am using massive. I kind off get the envelope in the right way (medium slow attack, zero sustain and a bit of decay) but the sound source don't sounds similar. It would be great if anyone could help me out with this. Thanks!

sounds like a square and maybe a triangle, not sure about the detuning tho. fairly strong reverb on it.

They use Omnisphere. It sounds like the base of it is a pan flute sample.
Korg, Casio, Alesis, and Yamaha (Minilogue, WK-7600, SK-1, Harmony 61, SR-16, MX49)
FL Studio 12, VSTs, MIDI keyboard
Non synths include string, woodwind, percussion, and toys for SFX.
