Virtual drum kits that can be used with Cubase SE 3

Post by MrFrodo » Fri Jun 01, 2007 5:54 pm

I've only been attempting to make music with Cubase SE 3 for just over a year, now. So, in effect, I'm still used to working with live sound, rather than SoftSynths. What I'd like is for someone to point me to any software drum kit with full editability of sounds that can be read by Cubase.

I like the "LM-7" that's inherently part of the software, but I'd like soething with more than ten sounds at a time.
The greatest thing we ever have is the will to survive.

Rest in peace, Dr. Robert Moog.

You could try a few free solutions... drums synths and drum samplers

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/367.html - ErsDrums Drum Synth

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/307.html - Drumatic Drum Synth

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2112.html - GTG DrumSampler II

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/55.html - LoopAZoid DrumSampler

I think the LM-7 was the first ever VST, released in 1996. It's a bit long in the tooth so the free ones above should be of much higher quality.

You can get loads of samples at the FreeSound Project
