REAPER 2.0 released

Post by stephen » Sun Oct 14, 2007 9:10 am

I've just downloaded version 2 of Reaper - check it out at http://reaper.fm It's a great application if you're looking for a low cost DAW. Reaper is shareware, and you get to use the full functionality even after the 30 day expiry.

Hi,

Definitely improving :)

The spec sheet is at http://reaper.fm/features.php

You can download the program for free and use it fully featured to see if it meets your requirements.

Thanks for the link, stephen.
Yes, this is a prog I'll be buying shortly. I downloaded a previous version, and for me Reaper is much more inspiring to use than Sonar.

Reaper is an awesome project! And at that price... mmhmhm ;)

Check the bug reports on the Reaper forum also. Some issues still haven't been worked out yet with the current version.

On the positive side, development and bug fix releases happen regularly - almost on a twice weekly basis.

(And no, I don't work for the reaper guys!)

Interesting. Any ideas how to make the program record audio from line-in without mixing everything that has been recorded earlier on previous tracks to the current track?

Apart from muting the previous tracks of course ;-)
