emu 1616 desktop version.

Post by voltageHead » Sun May 25, 2008 8:06 am

I was thinking about buying a emu 1616 for use with a new desktop computer that I was going to buy.I curenlty use a M-audio ozonic but I have some problems with the ozonic.
for the longest time the ozonic would record clicks and pops no matter how I had the latency set.I put on the asio4all driver and got rid of the click and pops. But I also noticed that If I would seq my microkorg or moog lp.If I left the korg or moog after sequencing though midi the instrement would get very quite if I left it connected for about 15mins.
The things I like about the emu unit are how it has a lot of inputs and outputs turntable input and other stuff.
I was wondering what people think about the 1616.
I was going to use it with live for recording with multiple inputs for synths and drum machines.
I want to get something will work good and any help would be great.
