Ok, I'm still confused by the instructions on this, and I don't want to smoke more CD's than I have to.
Does "burn the ISO image to CD" simply mean download the big zip file, unzip it, and then burn the unzipped (and very large) file to a CD-R? I've never heard the term "burn the image" before.
I've got the 265MB zip file downloaded - am I correct in the above steps? I.E., unzip it and then burn it to a CD-R, or is something fancier needed? Thanks.

you are gonna need software capable of handling .iso files, like Nero or Alcohol 120% (they have options like "Burn Image" and can handle most type of disc image files). Burning it as a data disc or something will not work.
An alternative is mounting it in a virtual drive with something like Daemon Tools or Alcohol or CloneCD or whatever and then running it off the virtual drive (makes your computer think the CD is in it in place of the file). Hope that helps

Did you bother to check the freshness date on this thread?dbjungle wrote:ReBirth was cool a long time ago. There are free VSTs that sound like everything in ReBirth now though. May be a cool toy for a child.
