Anyone tried Helix? It's a fantastic sounding VST plugin.
I've got a beta version dated April 2008. I've just been to the Helix website (http://www.audjoo.com)and the download link has been replaced with a Coming Soon message. I guess the beta testing is complete and the synth is about to become a release status. Any ideas when it will be coming out?
There's a demo of the synth at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1UB_d8EGmE

Re: Audjoo Helix
I love this synth. Installed it on my Mac and it is an amazing value for the price (free). Are they going to start charging for it?

The synth's absolutely great.
The GUI, however, can use a -lot- of improvement. Time-Level envelopes are for Roland romplers and Alpha Junos, not for VSTs.

The helix site is back up, and now its a commercial release, $149.
I tried the demo, but unfortunately it crashed on my linux/wine/reaper setup.
I've been demoing Zebra2 instead though.

I'll have to check it out Zebra2. I still have the Helix installer and the beta runs great on my Mac.stephen wrote:The helix site is back up, and now its a commercial release, $149.

Yeah, the Windows beta version works great on my linux box too! Perhaps I'm missing some DLL or other, I will have to investigate.
