Random delay midi VST plugin?

Post by CS_TBL » Mon Jun 15, 2009 9:08 pm

I've browsed through the internets and found none, or none that work.

So here's what I'm after:

a VST MIDI plugin that sits in the MIDI path (not the audio path), and randomly delays incoming notes with a given range. Idea is to add timing errors to a track.

Anyone knows which plugin does this, *if* it exists at all?

:D

I don't know of any "standalone" VST plugins that would do what you ask, but something like this could easily be built with Bidule, or some other modular patching program. Bidule is probably the cheapest, and it can be used as a VST or VSTi in other hosts. + It's a great tool for other kinds of MIDI manipulation, sound design and whatnot.
ps. No i don't work for them.
