Because once you have the ipad, for another $10 this is an iElectribe, then Rebirth, or TouchOSC, or a Everyday Looper, or BeatMaker (basically a pocket MPC).. etc. I bought an ipod touch and beatmaker for less than the cost of a useless Boss SP-202. It's awesome.
