New Sonic Arts Granite
Anyone use this granular synth? I'm loving it so far. So far it's one of my two favorite soft synths. (This and Aalto).

We used it at the Fejld album as well as Aalto:

It is a nice synth indeed, though a bit hard to work with sometimes. I recommend you Xils-labs VCS3-clone too. Great sounding thingy!

Weird website for New Sonic Arts...no screenshots, nothing but some demos to listen to and a download link

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

??? I've been using Automat for about 3-4 years, it's been stable for me in that time.Mush wrote:Even if it ain't stable yet and it is quite boring in its looks I really like Automat

I concur with this; Automat is free, and I have yet to have it freak out on me.Stab Frenzy wrote:??? I've been using Automat for about 3-4 years, it's been stable for me in that time.
I am interested in the New Sonic Arts plug, though. Looks interesting enough to give it a go.
Loves me some granular synthesis.

Re: New Sonic Arts Granite
Been using it within Maschine lately and after a while it just starts to scream in noise. And I have to reload the synth.Stab Frenzy wrote:??? Re: New Sonic Arts Granite
Weird, what version are you using? I've got the old black and green beta version, but I've seen there's a white version too which is newer.

Re: New Sonic Arts Granite
I use the latest version. Downloaded and updated a week ago.
Re: New Sonic Arts Granite
the osx version has an annoying glitch that renders it unusable for me. 9 times out of 10 it has this annoying three note arpeggio when i load my own sample into it even when all the settings are reset to null. weird because it worked fine when i was using the pre release beta
anybody else experience this?
