Zebralette is now FREE

Post by astroidmist » Sun Jul 17, 2011 2:14 am

Zebralette is now freeware! Install the new Zebra demo and the Zebralette that it comes with is fully functional. The nice thing is that you can learn how to use Zebralette and then you will have learned a lot of the basics of how Zebra works, which is more powerful. Both synths have morphing drawable waveforms/filters.

Have fun.

Zebralette is basically a single zebra oscillator with the interface expanded to the entire window and a few modulation sources added... Because its possible to do all sorts of fx like filtering inside the oscillator it's basically an entire additive/wavetable synth (drawing your own waves!) similar to NI's new 'razor' in featureset... Then you can move to the full zebra where you get FOUR of these, plus FM oscs, proper subtractive filters, ring mod, frequency shifters, waveshapers, more mod sources, etc... Sometimes I wonder why I bother with other synths...
