I just started looking at the prices for refurb Ipad, I'm on an alert list, you got me. You think I can do my homeworks on an Ipad?

Went live around 11 pm EST grabbed right after watching Dexter on dvr .......so far I like it ...fun to play , interesting UI . Bottom line ...little early in the game to review a 100% ,but it sounds quite lush and for a buck ? Just go grab it .
Only possible negative so far ....
I have not seen anything giving me a notion of core midi support yet , but not definitive .
Some wish to leave their mark ... I want to leave a scar .

MIDI options are on the Setup page.

Need the manual to understand what some of the things are doing :(

Yeah thanks ... On 2nd look there is a tab " Refresh midi input(s) " so that would indicate . Some of what is going on is not immediately apparent , but it sounds good regardless what I do with it so far .
I am thinking it is closer to wave table synthesis than VA subtractive , but I am just guessing .

Either way I have to say I have not used a soft synth that sounded this good since impOSCar 1 .

I just bought it, but I don't get any sound out of it (...and yes, I made sure that the vol was set on a higher setting). My other musical apps however do produce sound. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Same. :D

The Filtatron sounds really good, my only problem with it is that I don't own an ipad yet to have a better interface to use it. That might have to change soon.

OT, but I wish Ableton would put out a really basic version of Live (limited effects, less tracks etc) for the iPad. If that happened I'd buy one in a second.

Wow. Glad I decided to stay up a bit late screwing around on the internet tonight. Also starting to feel really good about the iPad I bought a year ago just because I knew something "pretty cool" would come out sooner or later. Never would have anticipated this.

This is the type of thing that 20 years ago would just seem absolutely ridiculous to even dream about. That it exists, and for a price tag that is completely reasonable all things considered, is nothing short of amazing. The iPad really lends itself as being a comfortable, sleek, and fun "instrument."

I just can't afford to buy and ipad. 44,500 yen isn't worth using for.

If there was a itouch which I can obviusly can afford I would totally bite on it.

I can just dream

Sounds good, methinks I spot a bit of wavetable action in there too. 30 seems a bit steep but I suppose making it 99 c for 30 days makes up for that.
