I've bought it. Great fun. All modules, except a couple are very nice and very easy to use.

Hmm, gonna try that out when I get home from work :) Thanks for notifying. I also found some fun with the Tabletop system. Specially the drum machine/sequencer with pads.

It seems to have a damn nice selection of synth engines, from poly analog to weird digital ones. The only engine that is oddly missing is a wavetable synth. But I already got the Waldorf Nave anyway. That 8-bit chip synthesizer sounds like a lot of fun.

There are a lot of really cool little noise makers, especially for the price. Korg continue to keep on making really incredible gear on the hardware and the software side, who ever is making decisions over there is a real go getter.

Weird how they've cloned various vintage synth's look for the various synths. Like the poly analog looks like an OB-8, the bassline thing look like a tb-303, the VPM one looks like a Vermouna etc.

Was a bit expensive, gonna have to wait til I get paycheck on monday :( Wish they had a time-based demo version or something.

I just hope that "special 25% off limited time offer" lasts until then.

Sadly it requires iOS 7. I haven't installed it yet, as I read there were some issues synth users should be aware of, notably that it was quite hard on the cpu. Since I still have an iPad 2, I've been reluctant to upgrade. Anyone know if the issues have been ironed out?

To expand a little ....

All of the synths are kinda one trick ponies , but they do sound very good and there is plenty of variety to fill many needs + what there is not there may be later as it is set up for expansion ( though if that means free or iapp IDK ? )
I like the sequencing work flow ... a lot . Very easy , very intuitive .
Audio recording and other devises to come in further updates already on the " blackboard "

My only real gripe .....
I wish ( and hope in an update ) they will make a landscape mode . It is as of now and may always be in portrait mode and if the tiny iPad keys were not useless before they are now at mm per key and like 2/3 an octave .
Side note : Hopefully this and all Korg apps get IAA soon too !

All in all for what I like to call groove box apps it's a great sounding and fairly easy to use one .

I'm using an iRig keyboard so the portrait mode doesn't bother me. All thought the modules are very simple, they are quite usable and sounds good. I'm only slightly dissapointed with the chip synthesizer.

They just released an update that adds better midi support, two new machines, export as .als for Live users and a landscape mode. Very pleased with this, it adds a lot of things that make it a much more usable instrument.

I made a Gadget track on vacation a few weeks ago. Gadget is quite fun.

Has anybody tried Abu Dhabi? It looks interesting.
