Anybody use IMPC for Ipad
I can't figure out how to sample from internal mic even though it is supposed to be capable of this.

I have not used it in awhile but I did all me sampling into garageband for the ipad so I could edit the sample there, sent the sample to itunes, then over to the impc. Not the most efficient manner but it worked.

There are apps you can record into and edit samples, such as Audioshare, eliminating the need to go via iTuneswiss wrote:I have not used it in awhile but I did all me sampling into garageband for the ipad so I could edit the sample there, sent the sample to itunes, then over to the impc. I found a workaround that pretty much mimics what you guys are saying. Sample to Voice Record and open the sample with Djay and then use IMPC to sample from Djay. It sounds like the long way around the mountain but the workflow on these things is so effortless it's still quick and simple.

I would use iMPC if it had a song mode, to chain the patterns together and make a song. Like on all hardware MPCs. Why on earth haven't they included this?

It seems more like they just had a picture of an MPC to go from, and just imagined what features it could possibly have.

They haven't even tried to improve it since it was released. It was also released about a year behind. It is really sad.kuroichi wrote:HAHAHAHAHAsequentialsoftshock wrote:Then decided to not add any of them.Bitexion wrote:It seems more like they just had a picture of an MPC to go from, and just imagined what features it could possibly have.

Honestly, something like this could be a nice app, a simple, clean, drum sampling sequencing affair. I honestly think the only problem is Akai. They just don't inspire a lot of confidence as a company to put it short.

That impc Pro looks promising. I just bought Beat Maker 2 which has just about all the features I want in a sampling workstation but I don't find it to be very intuitive.
