Serum--new wavetable softsynth

I heard people talking about this over at the Ableton forums. Might be of interest if creating your own wavetables and having lots of table modulations is your cup of tea.

$129 intro price until 10/31/14, then it goes to $189.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I have a few friends that are successful gigging electronic musicians that are absolutely going bonkers over this right now. They love it and say it's fantastic.

Any opinions/clues on how is that one in comparison with WaveGenerator, Largo or Wave 3.v?

I don't like the drums, but the drums like me!

Do the Waldorf apps let you load up your own wavetables? That's the big draw.

DL the demo and check it out.

After the first grindy drone, this set of patch demos shows a more spacey side.
