Synth.fm - Experimental web based synth

Hi all,

I've made a little experimental synth & drum machine that runs in a web browser: http://www.synth.fm/

It's got some interesting features like value lists to create polyrhythms not just for notes, but for any command (cutoff, decay etc). You can also automate the sliders to create all sorts of LFO-style effects, filter sweeps etc.

The other big feature is that anything you save is given its own URL so you can instantly share it with anyone. Could be good for demonstrating synth ideas and techniques etc. There's not much documentation at the moment, still working on that.

Would love to know what you guys think? Any feedback would be great :)

Thanks!

Ah interesting, hadn't seen that before. Just found a photo and can see what you mean.

Cool, and easy to use. I was hoping for an FM synth though!

Thanks, glad you find it easy to use, that was the goal although it's not easy to get in all the functionality and keep it simple at the same time! That was really the idea behind making everything into text-based commands, so you just add the lines you need.

Yeah the name was available so had to get it just for the music connection. Could always add FM synth in the future tho ;)
