It certainly is! I'm currently working through setting up a production run (which is more emailing back and forth than I anticipated).

Finally got my PM-16 back and the result..... ehhh, not working.

Aw, too bad I guess things like wiggling the card or using a bit more force didn't help? According to the manual, the PM-16 needs an M-128 or higher, so your M-256 configuration should work fine. The manual says to insert the card until you hear a click -- I wonder if there's a mechanical problem preventing my card from being inserted all the way.

Either way, thanks for trying this out! If you don't want to probe further after what you went through with your Tubefex, you have my full sympathy

Tubefex is still dead in it's deep roots. It kindly says hello when you power it on, but it is one big shy guy. Don't want to speak, sing, or give any voice

I feel it necessary to stress to the rest of the thread that this was not a result of using my card, but rather an accident while trying to figure out why my card doesn't work in the Tubefex. Sucks big time tho.

2. (aimed towards DoJoe) As I own equipment which either takes M256E (D70) or M512E (A-90) cards, would it be possible to create the switch mechanism in such a way to either emulate multiple M256E or multiple M512E cards?

Trust me, I have (see my previous replies). Anyway, my question was in the meantime already answered. 2 different modules will be available to either emulate M256 or M512.
