Yes, submit and tell your friends, because guess who just ordered twenty panels of six cards each!

The circuit boards will take about a month to manufacture and ship; in the meantime I can prepare card assembly over here and order parts.

I'm super stoked about this; it's a huge step towards getting those cards done.

Tell me you aren't going to assemble 120 cards manually?

Wah! No way! :o My mental health is kinda important to me.

I have an assembler lined up for automated assembly. I'll just have to glue the switch slider guard in place by hand, and of course test the cards.

Oops!

I had javascript turned off when I filled out the form, so I did it a second time, just in case the page didn't collect my contact info.

The page is 100% javascript-free. ;) But no worries, we will be smart enough to filter out duplicate addresses. :)
Maybe I should make the notice that the data has been saved a bit more prominent though.

Hello! I just registered my email address on the "keep me informed" page... and then I decided to join VintageSynth at last! Too many times I postponed this operation, but now it's the time!

ʝɵʝɵ - This means that I have not entered my VS username on the registration page, but you may guess it from my email address. ;)

Look what came in the mail!

The boards arrived at my place yesterday:

as did the parts on reels:

Now all that's left is hand them over to my assembler so they can mash them together into 120 working memory cards

Work is super demanding at the moment, so I won't get to do that until in about a month. I'll keep you posted!

how about providing it as a build-it yourself a kit? At least for me, as I am capable of assembling myself too. ;)

Providing it as a DIY kit is not really viable. It will neither save you (or us) money, nor will you get the benefit of a card that has been verfied in the testing rig. Just stay tuned until the cards are ready. :)

No, sorry. That would be a lot of extra hassle for packaging the kits, providing documentation & support, offering multiple options during ordering, predicting the necessary stock of assembled and unassembled cards.... I'd have to charge the 10€ for kitting that the assembler gets for assembly ;)
