I have an A-80 if you need testers.
In Canada.

I'll be interested in one when you have a finished item :D

Is this project still alive or is this thread about something else now?
I'd also be interested in a M512E clone card.

It certainly is! I'm currently working through setting up a production run (which is more emailing back and forth than I anticipated).

Brilliant. Have been here from the beginning and I'm still dead keen to purchase a couple (for starters).

Aw, too bad :( I guess things like wiggling the card or using a bit more force didn't help? According to the manual, the PM-16 needs an M-128 or higher, so your M-256 configuration should work fine. The manual says to insert the card until you hear a click -- I wonder if there's a mechanical problem preventing my card from being inserted all the way.

Either way, thanks for trying this out! If you don't want to probe further after what you went through with your Tubefex, you have my full sympathy ;)

Speaking of which, did it come back to life?

Hey...sorry, I was totally of grid. Another project, overwhelmed with my job, etc...

Tubefex is still dead in it's deep roots. It kindly says hello when you power it on, but it is one big shy guy. Don't want to speak, sing, or give any voice ;)

It's DSP chip what is suspected to be failed.

Well...ahhh...somewhere in time there will be one for parts, waiting to be a donor for mine ;)

Aw, damn! Sorry to hear that :(

I feel it necessary to stress to the rest of the thread that this was not a result of using my card, but rather an accident while trying to figure out why my card doesn't work in the Tubefex. Sucks big time tho.

I see a few comments above this that you're in email exchange regarding production and thought that maybe you'd be interested in a show of hands from us silent watchers to get an idea of where the interest in the card stands at present, so:

Since people have asked multiple times about lists, we give you a list!

Note: The following list is not a pre-order list. We will only use this to inform everyone who signs up about the happy news as soon as the card is available. This is only a way to make sure that we (or the forum software) won't forget about you. ;) Signing up on the list means that we don't have to hunt you down in the 20+ pages of this thread for sending you a personal message about the project status.

Please understand that signing up does not guarantee that you will get a card, and you can also still change your mind and not buy a card after all.

Submit your contact data here to be informed about the card release!

Cheers and hope you all enjoy these holidays with your loved ones.

please dude, take a hour and read through the ALL pages in this thread, it will be your favourite thread --
all these your quzziz and hopes are answered already here.
Trust me, I have (see my previous replies). Anyway, my question was in the meantime already answered. 2 different modules will be available to either emulate M256 or M512.
