JX-3P Service Question (Reference Voltage)

Postby kevinmcnasty » Sat Dec 10, 2016 8:14 pm

I have a Roland JX-3P with the Kiwi mod installed and I'm going through and calibrating the oscillators/filters/etc. but when I go to adjust the reference voltage, I can only get the volt meter to read 2.83v-3.83v
The manual says that it should be set to 4.7 volts but I'm running out of adjustment on the VRef port. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't want to put this thing back together if it's not right. Thanks in advance :?:

I figured out my problem. Apparently I was grounding the negative probe in the wrong place.
