My SH-101 needs your help!

Post by Farmerthatsynths » Tue Jan 17, 2017 12:48 pm

Earlier today I noticed there was quite a bit of noise coming from my 101. The funny thing is, I can turn all the sliders down so it's silent and noise will still come from it, it's almost like a windy sound. if I press a key it's accompanied by a click of some sorts. Could something be dying in it, like a chip?

I might also add that the wierd noise doesn't come on until the volume knob is past 10% and the noise is at the same loudness no matter how high the volume knob is. The only thing I've found is that the frequency of the hum changes with the frequency filter. I'm stumped on what it is and would really appreciate help since I love my 101

It does it with a power supply and with batteries
