EMU SP1200 DISK DRIVE

Post by HaterNob » Wed May 30, 2007 1:08 am

Now then!

I need to get a drive for an SP1200. That crazy Teac b***h:

TEAC 3.5" Drive FD235HF-A529

Do I actually NEED that specific drive or could I use say a FD235HF like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Teac-FD235HF-Flop ... dZViewItem

Or should I just rip an old DD drive outa an old PC and save a grip?

Thanks in advance!

Nice forum btw!

As read on http://www.emulatorarchive.com/Repairs/repairs.html I guess you need to go for the real stuff
If you don't mind the color of the front bezel of the 'eBay'-drive - which cost half as much as a drive from http://www.hometown.aol.com/mishon66/Drives1.html ( $74.00) - take it! At least you will be shure that it works!
