in the normal market the linndrum wont touch a mpc because mpc is such a household name.

Btw the XR20 was really kinda fun to play with.

That's until a big hip hop p'dusa uses one for an album or in a video, then people'll be all over them like flies on s**t.

eh it will take more than one of em. but it wont happen. I still would rather have a MPC over a linndrum.

Sweetwater has the MPC5k for $2500, that's a decent price IMO.

When you used the Linndrum, what made you think it was less advanced than an MPC? Or are you basing that opinion on the fact that you saw the mockup hardware of the Linndrum and imagined how the operating system might work?

It just seems like it lacks features that the MPC has like its huge library of sounds that akai has had for years. Other than that I dont know something about it just was lame for me.

.wavs? I believe the Linndrumm will be able to play them too. Sounds like you don't know what you're talking about.
