The funny thing is that I am alot more productive since getting rid of all of that... that was silly. I scrapped all the music I made at that time. I'm glad you pointed that out...because it makes me reflect on how silly I've been gear wise.hageir wrote:*JSRockit at 01:23*

haha I belong to that forum....
If you use an MPC it's definitely good. You also get to watch hip hop heads argue about useless s**t in the off topic section. Not gonna lie, their off topic section is wayy funnier than here. (mods this is not a forum plug).
And wow JS that is a nice set-up. Or used to be, i guess. I don't know.

yeah, but our OT (used to be) is populated by adults. i have looked at those forums and few times and they make the nimrods here seem like f**k atom splitters. if the people i see mashing at MPC pads in GC is any indicator, they probably should have drowned in a bucket or suffocated in a paper bag long ago...thestreets wrote:haha I belong to that forum....

Lol, I joined there recently myself. The veterans over there aren't bad, but apparently people who buy MPCs find it easier to ask a ton of stupid questions rather than simply read the manual. The thing is just not that hard to use. It really is amazing. I bothered to spend 10 minutes of my life on a few questions where I even installed the software they were having trouble with, explain step by step what to do, and not even get a thanks.tallowwaters wrote: yeah, but our OT (used to be) is populated by adults. i have looked at those forums and few times and they make the nimrods here seem like f**k atom splitters. if the people i see mashing at MPC pads in GC is any indicator, they probably should have drowned in a bucket or suffocated in a paper bag long ago...
But also, sadly, I'm giving up on my MPC experiment. I wanted a way to get off of the computer for a while, but what I'm doing with it just isn't worth what I paid for it. I'm going to put the funds towards some new stuff for my modular. I was having fun with it for a while, and it was refreshing to make music without a mouse. But since I can do everything I'm doing with it now in software I already have, it's going.
