EDIT : I got the cable and bought a SE/30 vintage mac !JMP wrote: No prob, good luck getting it all up and working. Which external SCSI HD have you acquired? Would fancy picking up a compatible one myself. Rob at Emulator Archive gets the cables made to order, mine took about four weeks or so.

Very nice JMP! What's the name of the pad sound in the first section? Is it factory or one of the other libraries?
Re: Emu Emulator II, Drives, Floppies & S. Designer + Demos
Cheers !The first sounds (keyboard split of two) is within the Burmer library, I forget the name but will check. The bass part is allocated to the bottom two octaves, the pad to the remainder.

I'll trawl through my Burmer. I'd appreciate if you'd check tho, I didn't convert all of them

Just checked, it's Ethereal Synth, Preset 01.

Great thanks. I hope I can find it...
Re: Emu Emulator II, Drives, Floppies & S. Designer + Demos
I'm not sure if all their names actually match the original library names... I've noticed others with the same name and some are just numbers...
Good luck finding it, give me a shout if struggling. I still owe you one.

FYI EMXP can now convert SD for EII image files into Soundfonts with all the mapping and looping intact, and it does a reasonably good stab at porting the modulation, amp and filter settings too. Fantastic!!
And I discovered today that Richard Burmer died in 2006. Very sad. His EMu factory sounds and his own Burmer library discs still stand up today, excellent, classic sound design.
