A3000 bZone and A3kDisky

Post by Hugo76 » Sun Nov 23, 2008 5:56 am

I've just got hold of an A3000 and now trying to find the mentioned softwares.
Anyone know where I can get them? Seems like the bZone site no longer holds the app...

2nd,
I have one too and I just got a free PC that I'll be using with it (inc. a SCSI-2 PCI card -perfect!)

Yes! Worked like a charm :D Thanks again.
Now, regarding the noisy fan... I just pull the plug, right? I mean, there's no use for it unless I have a harddrive installed...?

I just checked http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/a3000/ , to get some input on how to disable the fan, but the group seems totally dead. Last post was summer 2007, and now the message board is just filled with spam.
Bummer.

A3KDisky is available from the Files section of the above-mentioned Yahoo group for the A5K (and other A-series samplers).

cheers,
Ian

thnx for A3Kdisky. Does anyone have bzone? The website functions no longer (at least the download page doesn't) and the email is no longer active...

Congrats for the new sampler Hugo. The rs7k now got a very nice multisampling friend :O) What are those softwares for, mind to share a bit?
Hageir, a free PC with such scsi card and softwares sounds very nice. How does it work with the sampler?

Thanks! :) The bZone software is for controlling the sampler via the computer, and it actually works very well indeed. Navigating through the menus can be quite time consuming, and bZone is much more efficient. A3kDisky I haven't tried yet, but the main use is for transferring samples via SCSI, as I understand.

It must've been nice to use such an editor for such a deep sampler. Happy sampling. Thx.
