More comprehensive details here on the US site:

http://www.korg.com/microsampler

Tallow is right - multisamples across the keyboard - up to one/key
36 samples per bank x 8 banks = 288 samples in total in the internal memory.
No memory card slot though - dump memory contents via USB only
Decent sampling quality and battery power as well!

Ok that's it - I now must have one. This has been the sampling messiah we have been waiting for. All bow and worship the MicroSampler!

For so long I've been waiting for a truly useful portable sampling keyboard ever since getting hooked on my Casio Sk-8. This is it, it's finally arrived!

Cheers, Graham

Just remember to stock up on batteries! :D
I think I'll let this one pass and keep my fingers crossed for an updated Roland SP-606 instead.

Damn, this is starting to look tempting.

Any more info about the sequencer (they didn't really do much besides mention its existence, in that promo video). Will you be able to sequence external gear too?

Pedal power :) Or solar power if we dont get a nuclear winter/asteroid impact clouding the atmosphere.

I reckon it looks pretty cool, much nicer looking than the uKXL IMO. I just realised what it reminds me of, the Nagra V.

From the looks of it, it appears to be a simple one track type?

If it has only a single track, I wouldn't be too keen on buying this instead of the ESX-1.

Still hoping for a more advanced sampler in the future.

Well it's not a VCA cause there's no voltage control going on in there, but decay and release times are editable, in the software on the video at least. I imagine it'll be something you can edit on the keyboard in a menu.
