I just found out the rave choir is not from the S-50 library, but rather from the original S-330 System Disk no.2, it contains orchestral sounds and one of them, "Ending 1", is the famous rave choir!

Thank you SynthMania.
Anyone have the S550 library? or at least those samples? I tried Sgroup and other web resources, but all of them haven't been updated in years.

Horace, you can find the S-330 system disk images containing the samples you want here:

http://bobbyblues.recup.ch/diverse/S-330_PIEPIE.zip

But just in case, I have converted both disks to .wav with Akai programs, which you should be able to load into your favourite soft sampler. If not, the wave files can be used for any purpose, build new programs in Kontakt, etc, or played as is. Anyway, here it is:

Update has been added to the first post.

;)

The files in the original post aren't working for some reason. Can you possibly repost them?

Yes, the rapidshare links are down. I'll have the S-50 files up on MU soon.

And it's still down. I'm hoping to find these files somewhere... No luck so far.

D-Collector, your excellent demo of the S330 is gone again. Where can we hear it? :)
