Just ordered an MPC 1000. It's on the way and I'm very excited to start using it.
The main reason I purchased it is to sample all these old school drum machines, so I'm naturally looking for good samples. I would preferably like the samples to be of the highest quality/most professional while being free.
The samples I'm looking for are...
Roland TR808
Roland TR909
Roland CR78
LinnDrum (LM1 and LM2)
Boss DR 55
Sequential Circuits DrumTrax
And any Oberheim Drum Machine samples
Also, suggestions are welcome! If you could, please provide links. Thanks!

Re: Looking For TR808/909/Linndrum Samples
If you want really high quality professional samples then you're going to have to pay for them, if someone's doing something professionally then they need to get paid or they won't be able to continue their profession.
I'd recommend the Goldbaby samples, they're the best available in my opinion. http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/products.html
If you want free samples you're going to have to expect that they're not going to sound as good but that's the trade off. I'd recommend clicking the stickied topic in this forum, "Links to Free Samples in here", it has links to free samples in it.

There are tons here:
http://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php
Some of the ones you want require a donation to cover his bandwidth costs, but they are generally excellent samples.

I got all my Linn samples from here:
http://www.electrongate.com/dmxfiles/downloads.html
These are great because they are WAV files converted directly from the binary EPROM files!
You will find all sounds for LinnDrum and Linn 9000, as well as Oberheim DMX and DX and Sequential Circuits Drumtraks!
To be more precise, you get the sample exactly as it exist on the rom chip.
