Which one of the Fairlight presets do you guys think is used for the holding chord that runs the entire length of "Running Up That Hill?"

this thread i found a few months ago about it is pretty good. the poster named "desmond" may have figured out the chord sound, as well as the sound for the main melody.

To my ears the chords and the melody are the same sound. The chords just sound darker because that's the character of lo-fi digital samples pitched down. When I've tried to recreate the sound, I use the same for the melody and the chords.

Yes that's correct. Cool demo. Sounds like the portamento on the Korg is much closer to the Fairlight than the portamento in Kontakt is. Reminds me I must try this with Arturia CMI V :)
