Hi All-
I'm looking into buying an Akai S 3200xl after not owning one for a number of years. I've been trying to find out what the latest hacks or creative ways to integrate and expand it are?
i used to use the Akai Scsi connected to a Zip Drive then the PC with mesa ii.
Does anyone know the best way to connect to a PC these days? I see people using Microtech Flash Rom but I'm not entirely sure how that works if anyone can elaborate?
Can you expand the memory anymore than 32MB?

You can add SD card:

Thanks that's awesome, so you can load an SD card up with WAV's from the computer and then get them into the AKAI pretty fast, can you save the programs, etc onto the SD Card as well?
Any ram expansions? No one has been able to put a gig of ram in or anything crazy like that?

As far as I'm aware the s950 with a floppy emulator will work exactly the same as a floppy in regards to file format etc. The s950 will still only read the appropriate format images etc
