So, I am trying to trigger my SH-101 through its EXT CLK input from my Korg KR-55B, using its TRIG OUT output.
I am able to get them to sync up/play in time, but here is my issue:
The SH-101 is playing offbeat! That is, when using the Disco preset on the Korg (for example), the 101's bass line begins not on the one, but on the two (i.e. not to the bass drum, but the hi-hats). Although this sounds excellent, I am trying to make some real four-to-the-floor type stuff.
Is there a way to control at what place in the measure that that the SH-101 will be triggered? Can I get the bass line to begin on the one of the measure?!
Or should I use an external sequencer such as the SQ-1? Would that work?
If anyone knows the answer to this question, I would be overjoyed.

Re: SH-101 & KR-55B Sync Problem
Old problem with the different trigger standards. Korg used S-Trig while Roland used V-trig. Converting V-trig to S-trig is easier, just a dedicated cable. The opposite requires power. Maybe someone here knows of a commercial solution.
