Midi y cable or merge unit

Postby princefan3 » Fri Jun 15, 2018 11:41 pm

Hi all....I am wanting to use a sequential tom and a proteus 2500 at the same time....could I get away with a y cable or would I be better in getting a midi merger unit...I am worried that the midi information might clash down the same cable if the same notes are played at the same time...it will be running into an old Atari
Just like to know your thoughts.
Thank you.

MIDI Solutions in Canada is the best starting point. MIDI merge boxes that do what they're supposed to do.
