I'm new to synths and my dad had a old D-50 and i want to replicate the sound of ELP's Hoedown so I
s there a way to hook a oscillator to a D-50 with like a special cable maybe? I found a oscillator on sweetwater id like.

No, it cannot be done.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

It may not have the sound you're looking for, but Voice Crystal made a "Keith Emerson Signature" ROM card for the D-50 with sound that Emerson used live when he toured with "3" with emulations of many classic ELP sounds.
