Roland SDE-1000 Issues

Postby Zmeinogorsk » Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:27 am

Hi all, I got a Roland SDE-1000 a week ago and finally had a chance to test it out, but I'm encountering some issues. Power the unit on and there are no presets and everything is set to a delay of 0ms. I increase the delay with almost nil effect, although tweaking modulation seems to have an affect, some LFO mod going on. Going to maximum delay does very little. The delay light is on, but no delay seems to work.

The outputs also seem to cut in and out a bit, as well, wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to troubleshoot these issues.

There are pedal inputs on the back of the unit. One of which is for delay on/off. Could be something simple like dirty contacts in the jack connector.
