Proteus 2000 Riff Midi Out

Post by DLovas » Mon Mar 25, 2019 4:15 am

Hey guys, I just obtained a Proteus 2000 w/ Composer & Protozoa ROMs, so far it's been great fun playing with. I really enjoy the audition feature, and have come across a few familiar "riifs" (as the emu calls them). After enabling midi out on the audition riffs and recording the patterns into FL Studio, playing them back - it seems as though there is some additional modulation that occurs when auditioning the preset rather than just playing back the midi/velocity data (sounds like the filter or something is on an LFO?) hard to describe, but curious if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about

Essentially, how can I record the riff midi data such that it plays back and sounds identical to if I were to press the audition button?

I've been trying to do this specifically with the Patch: kit:424 (effects mode disabled)
