Help to identify E-mu Emax 1 Rack Modification Mod

Hi all,

First of all thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this issue.

I have just opened up my E-mu Emax 1 Rack to clean it. It looks like it has been modified as there are blue wires soldered to various components on the mainboard.

Can anyone tell me what this modification is? I have attached two photos of the mainboard.

They aren't "mods" in the sense that the owner was trying to achieve something beyond what the factory inteneded. Those blue wires are normal and added by the factory as part of an engineering design change.
